It is required to include Carbohydrate, Protein, Minerals, etc. in your diet for shiny and long hair. According to hair experts, correct diet, exercise and sufficient sleep can make hair healthy. Hair also need healthy diet which they get from our food. So include these foods in your diet for long and healthy hair.

CARBOHYDRATE

We get 55 to 60% of our daily calorie from Carbohydrates. Other than the source of energy, carbohydrate also help in growth of tissues and hair in our body. You can get enough amount of carbohydrate from Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Brown Rice and Cereals. It is also the source of Vitamin B-Complex, which is required for healthy hairs.

PROTEIN

Protein is essential for the hair growth and production. Problem of hair fall increases due to lack of protein. Soy Milk, Tofu, Milk, Yogurt, Cottage Cheese (Paneer), Nuts, Beans and Lentils are the good source of protein. You should include these foods to fulfill your daily need of protein.

VITAMIN B

Vitamin B is very helpful in Hair Loss and Split End treatment. Grains, Beans, Fruits specially Citrus Fruits like Orange, Lemon, Tomato, etc. can be include in your diet to get Vitamin B. It reduces the Biotin deficiency which is the reason for hair fall. Due to lack of Vitamin B, hair becomes white and fall early.
