WHY SOME FOODS ARE SUPER ?
Super food doesn’t have any legal or scientific definition. This term is used when we have to focus on some special characteristics and micro-nutrients of some food. For example Brazil Nuts is most important source of Selenium or Tomato has good amount of Lycopene. Spinach and Lettuce is excellent source of Vitamin K. You can get these elements from other foods also but in small amount. That’s why some foods called Super Foods.
HOW MUCH EXERCISE SHOULD WE DO ?
It depends on what do you want to achieve. If your goal is to improve health and prevent from 20 common diseases then start walking at least 5000 steps per day. You should walk for 30 minutes per day and for 5 days a week. If your goal is to improve Cardiovascular fitness then you should take 3 Booster Sessions of intensive workout. It includes 30 to 60 minutes of walking, jogging, swimming and fitness class.
WHAT IS GOOD IN ANTI-OXIDANTS ?
Body produces anti-oxidants to prevent itself and try to calm down free radicals. Our capacity to produce anti-oxidants controlled by our genetic make up. It affects also from environmental factors like smoking and diet. For this, amount of anti-oxidants like Vitamin A, C and E, Selenium and Beta-carotene should increase. These elements found in fruits, vegetables and fresh meal.
SHOULD WE SLEEP 8 HOURS ?
Same amount of sleep cannot apply on everyone. So if you are not sleeping 8 hours and feeling fresh then no need to worry. If you feel sleepy every time, not able to work and anxiety then you need to take more sleep.
AFTER INJURY ICE OR HEAT ?
In first 36 to 48 hours if your part of body is warm, red and swollen then you should use Ice. After burning reduces, then to increase the circulation and mobility you should use Heat. Instead of putting ice cube in a cloth you should rub ice on that specific body part, so that it spread cold sensation to that part.
